Bee Hives at Standen

We would like to thank local Beekeepers Neil Hart and Rob and Di Bright for their help in setting up the Bee Hives at Standen and for training our volunteer Beekeepers. Rob is writing a Beekeeping Log to record the progress of the hives at Standen, and it can be viewed here: Rob & Di's Beekeeping Log

After the success of our first two hives in Jack & Tommy field, we now have three more for the garden, thanks to our grant from the Co-op.

Our first Bee hives in the Orchard

We also have a new Bee hive in the Kitchen Garden thanks to the National Trust and BBC Local Radio Bee Part of It campaign.

We are happy to report that all four hives have survived the winter and are doing well.
