Wood Works ~ a day of celebrating our Woodlands

26th August 2009

Visitors discovered the traditions of woodland management with our Volunteers at the National Trust's Standen. They saw the rejuvenation of Rockinghill Wood at Standen, with demonstrations by the Working Horse Trust, mobile saw mill and much more. The day also included hands on activities for children and guided walks through this ancient and picturesque woodland.
